Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. She then went to an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. She set a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 second. She was the youngest winner of the 200-meter race in the world championships in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
